蒋彝（1903—1977），字仲雅，又字重哑，江西九江人。 出身书香门第，自幼从父亲习书画，深得东方艺术之精神。 青年时期进入东南大学学习化学，之后投笔从戎，加入北伐。 战后历任三地之县长，因求变革而得罪权势，痛心政治腐败之下，辞官赴英，却不承想一走竟是数十年。 旅居英美期间，以笔名“哑行者”出版了一系列隽永的旅行画记，畅销西方，成为享誉国际的散文家、画家、诗人和书法家，堪称“中国文化的国际使者”。 1975年回到阔别数十年的祖国，与妻女团聚。 1977年逝于北京，归葬家乡庐山脚下的马回岭公墓。 -------------------------------------- 梁贝特 （1987— ），祖籍浙江温岭。留英七年，现居杭州。牛津大学古典学专业研究生。目前供职浙江大学，擅长英汉互译。
